Get behind the scenes knowledge of the music industry learning  what it takes to become a success in this business.

The fellowship program of the The Judge’s Court (TJC Music) offers college students the opportunity to develop a working knowledge of the music industry. TJC Music seeks students with excellent communication skills who want to learn how the music industry works and who want to contribute to the TJC Music's research, publishing and marketing efforts.

TJC Music fellowship recipients are required to work at least 10 (and as many as 30) hours each week researching and marketing local, state and national music businesses, events and talent. Responsibilities include: interviewing local, state and national music businesses owners including developing business statements based on these interviews; inputting information into the TJC Music databases using MS Word programmed software; responding to information requests from industry professionals and the general public; and researching local, state and national music on the web. TJC Music fellowships are on a volunteer basis; interns do not receive any financial, housing, or transportation compensation or assistance.

The Judge's Court (TJC) sells music and music management production. Music Management Production is the management and/or production of music for instrumentals, lyrics, songs, jingles, soundtracks, film scoring, and choreography videos/shows. TJC also provide recording services to artist/ businesses and participates as an independent record label signing potential artist to participate on our label. Fellowship recipients work closely with the TJC staff in assisting with these publications, and your work is credited in print.

Getting started in the music business isn't easy. TJC fellowships are an excellent way to become aware of important professional contacts who make music their business.
